About Me

My name is Aaron Smith and I attend Indiana State University completing a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management.  I have an associate’s degree in General Aviation and a minor in Unmanned Systems.  I am also an instrument rated pilot who is pursuing to earn my multiengine rating.  With all of this upon completing my degree at ISU I am planning on going after my dream on being a helicopter pilot in the Army.  Currently I am a utilities mechanic for the Indiana Army National Guard at the 139th FSC in Crawfordsville, Indiana.  I received an Army Achievement Medal for being top of my class at AIT Distinguished Honor Graduate, and class leader.

I’m a very self disciplined, this is evidenced by my commitment to physical fitness, good study habits, and self-improvement.  Through my whole college carrier I have maintained a 3.3 grade point average and higher, making the Deans list every year.  I like to keep the area that I work and live in clean so that insures the best and the fastest response from me as an individual.  I am also a hard worker and employers often comment on how much I accomplish and the leadership I demonstrate. Life is short and I know that your must work hard to get what you want, that is how I live my life.  In addition, I am an ethical individual and try to do the right thing in every situation so that I maintain my integrity.
